Our Ethos

 Offord Day Nursery and skoolz out is a small independent nursery that is dedicated to providing care and education, where each and every child is valued as an individual and providing them with the best start to life. 

Being a smaller nursery is one of our unique features as it allows all staff to work closely with all of the children and families within the setting.  Our aim is to provide a warm and caring home from home environment with open ended learning opportunities. Our environment is designed to allow the children to feel safe and to promote curiosity, excitement and independence as they develop and learn to reach their full potential. 

Here at Offord, we are lucky to have the garden right on our door step as well as a forest area where the children can be curious and imaginative learners, as well as helping the children to establish a healthy and active lifestyle and to benefit children’s mental and physical health and well-being. We acknowledge the importance of outdoor play and learning and teach the children to be appreciative of the nature and world around us.  

At Offord we understand the importance of our team and value and support each and every member of staff at our nursery. All of our staff at Offord are kept motivated through our ongoing training opportunities to ensure that best practice is up to date and applied to every child’s nursery experience. We are proud of all of our team and the dedication they have within their role to enhance children’s lives and support development within the setting.
